Where are the stats that show WHY they chose the Evora? Was it just personal preference or based on factual tests?
I enjoy watching Autocar, but they seem to be a very half-assed organization. They do a terrible job on some of their segments.

well yes i do agree …
well yes i do agree but the lamborghini lp670-4 SV is stuning. Plus i think if they had switched the slower gt3 rs out with a gt2 beast it might have done better. it was there choice, not mine.

Don’t think it …
Don’t think it looks better than either the Elise or the Exige. It looks stretched and compromised. Also amongst this particular crowd, the Aston, R8, Lambo and 997 (contentious but surely best looking 911 ever) are nicer looking. I saw a GTR in the flesh last week it wasn’t too bad at all either.

If it was the 670sv would have won by miles.
It was the best handling car.
Which Lotus won. No surprise to me, just ask anyone that has actually driven the Elise/Exige, the car starts to feel like a part of you,so precise and accurate,so sensitive,it’s almost like if you mid corner you will knock it off line.Lotus know how to do this probably better than anyone else.
