I ended my engagement to Colin Reed in February 2008 after I discovered he had been having an affair with Sheona Thomson. A year later, this is a recording of just one of the nasty tricks they’ve played. Amazingly, I discovered what they had done just four days after their telephone call when my car broke down and I was told that my car insurance and recovery policies had been cancelled. (It’s probably no surprise to anyone to note that Colin is a qualified car mechanic and the cause of my breakdown was my exhaust dropping off!)

Tips about truck safety from drivers.
Let the truck do the work not the brakes. You want the brakes to be cool when you get to the bottom so you can stop. The cooler your brakes, the easier to stop. And don’t rely on emergency equipment at railroad crossings always look yourself. Don’t rely on those flashers, those are just mechanical and they could break down.
Don’t ever use the wide load sign to take your mother in law to the hospital.
Get enough sleep. No load is worth your life. It’s time to go on a diet when you walk across a cat scale and they ask you if it’s a first weigh or a reweigh. The most accurate way that they can keep up with DOT regulations is to log it like you live it.

The best tip I can think of is to go to the bathroom before you get in the truck. Get you some Eco Flaps and you can see better around trucks in the rain. My tip, avoid opening your air vents when passing any sewage plants. You can go down a hill a million times too slow, but only once too fast. Slow down, save the fuel and save your life. Never ever, ever drink from a Mountain Dew bottle unless it’s on the dash.
